In the morning of Jan.9, Dr. Brian Stiegler, Head of International Education Department of Salisbury University, Dr. Song Hongzhuan, Dean of English Language School, visited BNUZ. Prof. Wenhao Tao, Dean of School of Foreign Languages, Associate Prof. Qingli Xie, Vice Dean of SFL, Ms. Yuan Gao, SFL Office Director received the guests and held talks.

In the meeting, Prof. Tao, on behalf of SFL, extended welcome to the delegates and introduced basic information of SFL to the guests. Then, two sides held heated discussions on the proposed 2+2, 2+3 program on English education major, TESOL program, ISAP summer program, LEAP program and faculty exchange. The main topics are ISAP and LEAP program, which are possible to carry out in the summer of 2014 and 2015. Apart from that, Dr. Brian Stiegler also expressed the possibility to send faculty to participate in the graduation thesis defense of SFL in 2014.

Two sides agreed that this meeting is fruitful, which also sets a great start for the long term cooperation and hope to cooperate in the near future.
