Recently, BNUZ School of Government and Law (SGL) signed cooperation agreement regarding the 3+1 LL.MProgram with Tulane University, US, which is effective immediately on the date signed. According to the Agreement, after completing 3-year B.A. study in BNUZ, the SGL students, if qualified, shall apply for 1-year study at Tulane University and take courses under LL.MProgram. And those who meet the requirements shall be conferred the degree of Master of Laws from Tulane University.
At the same time, BNUZ will also award credits to students towards their home program of study in respect of courses successfully completed at Tulane University. Those who are qualified shall also be conferred the B.A. degree from BNUZ as well. One particular point about this program is that according to the Agreement, Tulane University will offer each BNUZ Student admitted to the 3+1 LL.M Program the scholarship which accounts for 30% of the tuition charged for the LL.M Program for the year. In addition, all graduates from BNUZ School of Government and Law will also be entitled to waiving the 30% of the tuition when apply for Tulane Law School’s LL.M program if they are recommended by the SGL.
BNUZ will host a delegation from Tulane University for a reciprocal visit this April. At that time, SGL will hold a presentation about this Program.
In recent years, SGL has been actively promoting the international cooperation with overseas universities, which provide lots of opportunities for the students to broaden their horizons. Until now, SGL has already carried out the following international programs: US Laws Certificate Summer Program with OCU School of Laws; One-Semester Exchange Student Program with OCU; Exchange Student Program with Providence University, Taiwan. In addition, SGL is also actively promoting the cooperative program with Soochow University in Taipei and Tamkang University in Taipei.
