The Chinese Culture Center established in Braganca Institute of Technology in October, 2012 by BNUZ is the first China-Portugal Culture organization in Braganca, Portugal. After one year since its foundation, the Chinese Culture Center offers the Chinese language and culture courses not only to students from various schools in Braganca Institute of Technology, but also to students of high school and elementary school. Besides, it also compiles business-oriented practical Chinese textbooks for the local entrepreneurs and holds various folk art events about Chinese culture, which make great contribution to the promotion of China-Portugal Culture Exchange.

The Chinese Culture Center has also participated in local events like Halloween Open Week in Braganca Institute of Technology, International Culture Exhibit hosted by Braganca Municipal Archives Bureau, Braganca International Historic Ruin Day and Braganca International Day etc. At the same time, the Chinese Culture Center also functions as the overseas internship base for the students of BNUZ School of Chinese and is devoted to enhancing the quality of talents with international outlooks.
