From 19th Feb. to 3rd March, the 2014 Happy Spring Chinese Style – Year of Horse Zodiac Jewelry Design Exhibition hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture is held in Paris, France. Ms. Chen Junqian, teacher in School of Design was invited with three of her design work exhibited in the fair as well.
The year of 2014 witnesses the fifty’s anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. And this Fair, hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture, is devoted to promoting Chinese culture and highlighting the design of oriental style. By integrating the Chinese culture with the contemporary creative design, this Fair aims to pushing the contemporary Chinese deign into the international arena.
Such fair featuring on advanced jewelry design is rarely held in China-France exchanges. The success of this fair greatly enhanced the cooperation between Chinese and French designers and artists, which exerts profound and extensive meaning on the exchanges and cooperation in the field of creativity. During the event, the host also organized the Chinese-French Jewelry Design Artists Forum.
After coming back from Paris, Ms. Chen Junqian said that she would actively prepare for the 2015 Year of Goat Jewelry Design Competition and guide the students to design more excellent works. She is also looking forward to the exhibition in World Expo in Milan, Italy.
