In the evening of Dec. 27th, School of Arts and Communication grandly held the 2014 New Year Concert in the multi-functional hall of Yichuan Building. BNUZ president Prof. Tu Qingyu, chairperson of the University Council Prof. Tang Wei, vice president Prof.Fu Ailan, dean of School of Arts and Communication Prof. Li Huaizhi etc. and hundreds of faculty and student representatives appreciated this concert.

The concert started by an Italian folk song named Mama, which expressed student’s miss to their mother who’s far away and praised faculty’s family for their support to faculty’s work. Then a song named I Love You, the Northern Snow by faculty Liu Yang brought the first climax. Listening Silently, a duet by faculty Lu Chen and Li Peng also received warm cheers. The great concert welcomed the end at a chorus by the whole young artists in School of Arts and Communication.

President Tu spoke highly of this concert. He hopes that, in the New Year, School of Arts and Communication can continue to develop talents and improve social influences and get more successes!
