In 2012, the Chinese Ministry of Education carried out exemption policy in admitting HongKong students to mainland higher education institutions, and this is the 4th higher education exhibition in HongKong. 78 qualified higher education institutions from 14 provinces in mainland China participated this year.

This is the 4th time that BNUZ attended the exhibition, which received great attention from the leaders of the university. The Office of Students’ Enrollment and Employment, BNUZ-SMU Program, and the School of Design carefully prepared brochures for this exhibition. Besides, two meetings were held for the related preparation, and the planned presentation and PPT received special guidance from our university leaders. In the two days of exhibition, BNUZ attracted attentions from HongKong students and their parents. More than 2000 brochures and promotion materials were delivered. Many students and their parents showed great interests and asked for more details about our BNUZ-SMU Program with a major in Finance and the BNUZ-DFI Program which was approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education this year.

Since the Mainland China Higher Education Exhibition was first held in HongKong three years ago, a platform has been provided for more of the HongKong students get to know higher education institutions in the mainland and have more choices in their future study. Until 2014, more than 3500 students from HongKong have been admitted in mainland higher education institutions. The policy has obtained great results. Through this exhibition, BNUZ not only recommended our programs and university to more HongKong students, but also developed further communication with other mainland higher education institutions, especially those from Guangdong Province, which also received great effectiveness in publicity.
