In the afternoon of November 5th in Portugal, BNUZ Chinese Language and Culture Center in the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) successfully held activity with the theme of Tea Culture in China and Portugal. More than 20 teachers and students from IPB participated.

This tea culture activity included three parts. The first part is tea drinking. Providing with tea bags from local areas in Portugal and traditional Chinese black tea, the Chinese tea has received wide praise depending its special aroma. The second part is explaining. Teacher Chu Zhixin from BNUZ shared her own experience of different tea culture in both countries through 6 related stories, and they developed further communication and exchange. The third part is experiencing. Some tea equipments were offered with a short video, the participants could make tea by themselves according to their own favourites and enjoy the tea making performance.

This activity was led by BNUZ teacher Chu Zhixin who is currently assigned in IPB as a Chinese teacher. Our exchange students in IPB, including Hu Yue, Luo Yan, Zhang Leixin and Zhu Guanwei, made their efforts for this activity. With great support from IPB, the first Chinese culture activity was successfully held in the 2014-2015 academic year. In the following time, BNUZ Chinese Language and Culture Center plans to hold 12 series activities with the theme of Chinese culture.
