On Dec. 7-9, 2012, the 2012 Guangdong College Student Athletics Championships was held at Guangzhou City. 69 Teams from higher education institutions of Guangdong Province has participated in the event. Mr. TAN Junjie, a student of BNUZ got the first prize in the Men’s Shot Put, which is the first provincial-level champion of related event that both BNUZ and higher education institutions of Zhuhai got.

The grade Mr. TAN Junjie got in the Men’s Shot Put also broke the record of Zhuhai College Student Sports Meeting. Mr. LONG Lin, a BNUZ student participated in the Men’s 5000-metre running also broke the Zhuhai College Student Sports Meeting. Mr. TAN Junjie is from School of Real Estate and Mr. LONG Lin is from School of Information Technology, they were captained by Ms. FENG Liping to attend this event.
