30th November, 2012, Prof. Carmel Diezmann, vice dean of Faculty of Education of Queensland University of Technology, visited BNUZ. Associate Prof. Zhou Niu, vice dean of School of Education, Associate Prof. Wenting Xie, vice dean of School of Foreign Language and Dr. Pansy Gan, director of Office of International Affairs received the guest in International Centre.

The International cooperation framework agreement between the two universities had been signed in July, 2012, aims to promote educational and academic cooperation. Prof. Carmel Diezmann’s visit not only further communication between the two sides, but also reinforce the discussion on possible cooperation. The two sides have detailed discussion on summer program and Ph.D. program for teachers at the meeting; and both parties hope that cooperation can be launched in the near future.

Before the meeting, prof. Carmel Diezmann was accompanied to take a campus tour around BNUZ.
