From Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, 2012, the 7th Guangdong Drama and Folk Art Contest was held at Futian District of Shenzhen City, Guangdong. A drama skit named Our Youth, Our Decisions performed by students from School of Arts and Communication (SAC) of our university got the silver medal. The drama is also the only campus drama skit presented by students.

As one of the highest level cultural events of Guangdong drama and folk arts field, this contest was held per three years. This time, it lasted for 4 days and presented 11 shows in total. It has attracted teams from 2`1 cities and areas. From the over hundreds of works, the judges selected 61 as programs entering the finals which have over 500 performers in total.

The drama skit presented by SAC has invited Prof. LIU Yi as the art director. Young teacher LIU Hongwei is the writer and director and the perform students all form Movie&TV department of SAC. Its vivid performances not only get the prize for BNUZ but display the teaching achievement and characteristics of BNUZ.
