On Dec.1st, 2013, at the invitation of BNUZ Truth-Seeking Kyudo Dojo, Mr. Mabashi, President of Shuishangding Kyudo Association in Qunma County of Japan led a Kyudo delegation visited BNUZ during the period of the 13rd BNUZ-UIC Kyudo Competition. Mr. Koichi ITO, Consul-General of Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou also attended the BNUZ-UIC Kyudo Competition. Prof. Tang Wei, Chairperson of the University Council, warmly received Mr. Koichi ITO and the Kyudo delegation.

Prof. Tang Wei introduced BNUZ’s talent-training model and school-running mechanism to the guests. On behalf of BNUZ, he extended warm welcome to Mr. Koichi and the Kyudo delegation. Mr. Koichi ITO spoke highly of BNUZ’s campus environment and academic achievement. He also hoped that more communication activities could be carried out between BNUZ and universities in Japan. He personally and the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou would be very glad to facilitate it.

In the afternoon, Mr. Koichi ITO and the Japan Kyudo delegation, Mr. Xu Fanglong, chairperson of UIC University Council, Prof. Naito, Trainer at BNUZ Truth-Seeking Kyudo Dojo, Prof. Lu Shuying, Director of Office of Public Relations&Media, Mr. Chen Xianbin, Secretary of BNUZ CYL committee, and around 100 students from BNUZ and UIC attended the 13rd BNUZ-UIC Kyudo Competition. Mr. Koichi ITO and the Japan Kyudo delegation spoke highly of BNUZ Truth-Seeking Kyudo Dojo and the development of BNUZ Kyudo Association.
