In the evening of December 12th, the final contest of the Guangdong Provincial Hosting Contest of College Students was held at the Music Hall of South China Normal University. It is sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Youth League Committee，Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Department of Culture of Guangdong Province, and Guangdong Provincial Union of Students and its theme is “with arts, realize your dreams”.Zhang Yuting, Grade 2012 student from School of Arts and Communication won the second prize with her excellent performance.

This year, there are altogether 130 students participated in the contest. All of them are respectively recommended by universities in Guangdong province. After the two-month of training and selection, there are 40 students chosen to enter the intermediary contest，20 of which won the ticket to the final. The final contest is divided into 5 parts, which fully examine the comprehensive quality of a future host in an all-round manner. The judges are mainly famous TV hosts and hostesses from GDTV such as Sun Yu, Liu Xiaotian, Liu Xue and Wang Peng. The contest is not only a platform for college students to show their talent, but also a strong proof of the good quality of arts and communication education at BNUZ, as well as a good opportunity to promote our reputation in this field.
