In the evening of Nov. 29th, organized by BNUZ Student Union and directed by Communist Youth League Committee, the finals of 12th Campus Singing Competition was held ceremoniously in the stadium. The championship was won by Cui Youming from School of Continuing Education, the second runner by Zhang Weishuo from School of Real Estate and the third prize by Zhang Yuchen from School of Franchise Management. Until then, the 12th BNUZ Campus Singing Competition, which had lasted for nearly a month, came to an end successfully.

The judges include Ms. Liu Yang, Deputy Secretary of General Party Branch from the School of Art and Communication, Mr. Li Bangyu from the School of Art and Communication, Mr. Li Qi, famous MV director, one of the top ten gold medals of Guangdong broadcast television, and the president of Zhuhai Etiquette Association, Mr. Song Jingyu the former member of Jiazidao Club, Mr. Gao Feng, the member of Zhuhai Musician Association and the director of Zhuhai Creative Art Music teacher, and Ms. Huang Ying the Artistic Director of Clara Popular Music Workshop and the senior pop vocal teacher. After three rounds of competition, the Tuberose sung by Cui Youming, which presented uniquely, received recognition from all judges and audience.

After the competition, the famous MV director Li Qi said that this singing contest gave him a great shock. BNUZ students showed their outstanding overall quality, which is also the successful result of BNUZ exploration in practical teaching.

The Campus Singing Competition is one of BNUZ brand activities, which is held to enrich students’ extracurricular life and improve their identification of our university and the Student Union. With 12 years’ continuous efforts, the Campus Singing Competition has become one of the most popular events in the university. According to the organizers, instead of large scale, the competition will tend to pay more attention to the connotation and gradually match to the Culture and Art Festival for College Students in Guangdong. Through this way, the competition can be developed as a professional contest in showing the bright images of BNUZ students.
