On March 28th, BNUZ and Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau held a signing ceremony for University Student Occupational Skills Training Program. Mr. Li Weihui, Head of Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Ms. Luo Hong, Deputy Head of Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Prof. Fu Ailan, Vice President of BNUZ, Prof. Li Baojun, Director of Office of Recruitment and Employment attended the meeting. Prof. Li Baojun presided over the signing ceremony.

First, Prof. Li Baojun introduced the employment situation of BNUZ graduates while Mr. Li Weihui briefed about Zhuhai University Student Occupational Skills Training Program. Mr. Li said, in February 2014, Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau adjusted related policy and shifted the time for university students to learn occupational skills to earlier time, which means students can start to apply for occupational skills courses in their late junior year or senior year and can enjoy a subsidy if they get related certification in graduate year. It not only subsidies tuition fee, but helps students to get hold of new skills, thus improving their competitiveness in the career market.

Prof. Fu Ailan also extended thanks for the good news on behalf of BNUZ. Prof. Fu expressed that, BNUZ have attached great importance to practical talent development. BNUZ also regards facilitating this occupational skills training program as a key work of the university and will gradually integrate this program into our credit management system to encourage student to join the program so as to improve our graduate’s competitiveness.

Mr. Li Nong, Chief of Occupational Capacity Construction Section at Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Mr. Wang Zhiyuan, Director of Zhuhai Career Training Service Center, Ms. Xie Limen, Deputy Director of Zhuhai Career Training Service Center, Mr. Yan Weiguo, BNUZ Career Center and related faculty in schools participated in the signing ceremony.
